My sustainability journey started when I volunteered for a children’s cause. As a blog writer, it allowed me to learn about so many things I never knew existed. The curiosity of a cat got hold of me and I went deeper into those issues. What I learned changed my life forever. Ranging from how waste is managed, how supply chains are polluted, environmental injustice, social injustice, and rampant greenwashing practices made me realize that the future of our Earth is in jeopardy.

One night as I watched my toddler drifting off to sleep, a question was posed to my mind. “What am I leaving behind for him”.
I wanted a safer world, ethical markets, and a clean environment where successful businesses do not operate by destroying nature. It became my mission to create a world of ethical and honest business owners who collectively work toward a better future. Thus, my experience with purposeful branding, beautiful design, and passion for a better future came together and Studio KRI8 was born.

(July is my favorite month because both my babies - my sweet little human and my company -  were born)

I love - meeting kindred spirits, long nature walks, books, group yoga, meditation, zipline, taste testing my chef husband’s food, reading books to my little one and his friends, watching a period drama, thrift shopping, pondering and exploring new interests.

My commitment to sustainability goes beyond my studio. I am a member of Catchafire where I frequently support other organizations reach their goals. I also regularly volunteer with Green Schools Green Future and donate 1% to their cause. I partner with people and businesses with similar values to ensure the authenticity of our projects.
